RANCHO SANTA FE and Fairbanks Ranch

Rancho Santa Fe being one of the most prestigious addresses in San Diego County and known as the wealthiest neighborhood in the United States.

The original area of Rancho Santa Fe is known as 'The Covenant.´  There is a small town area which includes a post office, library, restaurants, stores and schools.

As you move out away from the center the homes may be ordinary looking, big and quite comfortable, manicured landscaping but upscale in almost every way.  Others may have orange groves on small hills surrounded by horses grazing on open fields.

Fairbanks Ranch is a newer area adjacent to Rancho Santa Fe.  Very upscale, named after Douglas Fairbanks who lived there with his wife Mary Pickford.  They were two of the first movie stars to reside in that area.

Schools score very high.  Some are within the area and some are part of the San Dieguito District.

Rancho Santa Fe and Fairbanks Ranch is located just inland and a bit north of Del Mar.  There are gentle rolling hills and small mesas, with wide valleys and views to the mountains in the east.

There are golf courses including Fairbanks Ranch Country Club and next to Fairbanks Ranch is Del Mar and Morgan Run.  You´ll also find polo field, stables, tennis clubs, private places of exercise and pools.  If you were to ask someone where they live they most likely would say "Rancho Santa Fe".
